Melville Optical’s narrative doesn’t start in Bicton, WA, but in India and Uganda with family patriarch, Eusebio De Souza, who established East Africa Optical, in Kampala, Uganda.
Eusebio was the De Souza families first optometrist and left a legacy of providing vision and doing the right thing for each and every patient.
Take a trip back to 1975 (when the Hawaiian’s Melville was called the Melville Plaza Shopping Centre), with Cedric, Eusebio and family outside the original Melville Optical Clinic. Looking to the future, Nikole and her daughter walk past our new clinic located inside the Shopping Centre.
